The halfling takes on the physical traits of other animals, and Lorelai is no different. Her body more closely resembles the wild ungulates of the forests and fields than any predator - appearing more deer-like as she ages. Her petite body has finally reached sexual maturity but it does not boast substantial weight; in fact, upon the initial glance, the girl's body looks ultimately too fragile. The girl's pelt is mainly a golden brown which pales in to an off-cream as it descends to her underbelly; the same desaturation can be found on her lower jaw, while the opposite - a mixture of gray and silver hairs - streaks across her back and dominates the tones of her hind legs. This dark Gray mixture slips across the base of her ears as it reaches her face, nearly creating a hooded effect. Her face is where the most intricate details reside. The Gray of her spine appears beneath her eyes and dips along her muzzle towards her lips; likewise, there is a stark white marking around both of her eyes, that meets upon the bridge of her nose in a v-shape. Aside from her body's markings and her diminutive size, there are two physical traits that set her apart from other halflings: for one, the woman's tail is tiny, more like a tuft of fur upon her tail-bone than anything else; and lastly, she has a set of pristine pronghorns that rise up atop her head and then curl backwards, a clear mark of her heritage.

personality

"A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. They are devoted to helping others; they work with kings and magistrates but do not feel beholden to them. This is a positive alignment because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, this can be a dangerous alignment when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable. "

Having been raised in a God-fearing family, Lorelai is devoted to the ways of her parents. They were simple minded folk; they kept themselves out of trouble and adhered to the routine of daily life with fervour. Lorelai is no different from them - she is a traditionalist, loyal to those in power and respectful of her elderly. From a young age she boasted no special traits aside from a natural beauty, and while she helped out around the home she felt no ill-will towards her parents when she was given extra chores or subtle punishments.

She has always held a trust in the goodness of others, which has only recently begun to grow tainted, due to the abandonment of her fiancée. This event caused a shift in her psyche; for she grew restless and angry. It wasn't the first time she had ever felt hurt, but this sort of pain was new and it stung her. Her goodness, her lawfulness, it all began to chip away as the days wore on - and now, Lorelai has grown a bit of a backbone. She still trusts the world around her to a damaging extent, and she is still beholden to the concept of Good prevailing over Evil; however, such thoughts are clouded at this current time.

Where once she had been courteous, kind, respectful and sensitive, Lorelai is closer to neutral due to the defiance she managed to muster in the face of her parents. Abandoning them for her own pursuits has brought her a sense of righteousness and power, but the guilt of her actions is also very strong. It is not her place to go hunting for the boy, but with the inaction of her parents and the bitterness of the boy's departure still fresh within her mind, she has taken control of the situation herself.

history

Lorelai was born in to a religious household and brought up to be a devout individual, and despite a few moments where her parents had to squash her dreams, she has adapted well. Although not subservient in nature she is rather passive, doing as she is told by her parents or those in power, and rarely doubting them. She is a simple woman who does what she can to please her parents. When it was mentioned that she was to be wed to Connie, there was reluctance but acceptance in equal quantities. They met, they played with one another and learned to trust one another - perhaps Lorelai did this too easily, or her exuberance towards him was unwanted, for the closer the wedding day came to the pair of them the farther Connie acted from her. On the fateful day he was nowhere to be found, and Lorelai was crushed. Her quiet spirit cracked on that day, and she grew spiteful and bitter. The hurt of being abandoned on such an important occasion made her feel ashamed and unwanted, which of course she was unhappy about. While her parents tried to console her Lorelai only set upon her studies with more voracity; she hoped that he would return to her one day, but as she studied her magic and the days wore on, it became clear that such a thing would not occur. Hurt turned to anger, and this fuelled the usually quiet and collected girl in to plotting her own escape from her family. It was hard enough to deal with the abandonment on a daily basis, harder still to witness the sad glances from her father, or the other pack members. So she left - fleeing just like Connie, with the hope that she would one day find him again. Lorelai is devoted to her family and the error of the boy's ways have put her on a collision course with a world she has been sheltered from for the majority of her life; she hopes to find her fiancée and demand answers.
