Reference
When others first look upon Cyan, they think Killer Whale, should they ever have had the pleasure to see one. The resemblance between the two has nothing to do with size and weight, rest assured. However, Cyan's markings resemble that of the marine mammal greatly. Her main base coat is a silky, soft ebony black. Near her eyes are two giant white spots, as well as a white strip on her underbelly. Cyan has white on all of her toes and white on the underside of her tail. This female has a strange "appendage" of sorts, that being a large dorsal fin protruding from her spine. As for the other fine details, Cyan has a narrow muzzle, rounded ears, and a bushy, curled tail. Her build is lean and sinewy, though her shoulders are a little broader than what most other females have. Cyan has dainty paws, and a black nose with pink speckles. Her tongue is reversed in coloration being pink with large black spots on it. This female seems to have a small, discreet hole on the top of her head, that is rumored to aid in her breathing underwater. Those that are not very detail oriented will fail to notice it at all though, for it is covered with fur. Perhaps the most stunning thing about Cyan, and where she got her name, is her eyes. They are a shining cyan blue, and they portray more emotion than her words can say sometimes. Cyan's eyes hold mirth, hope, and kindness in them. Cyan is a mixed bag of temperaments, there isn't just one that encompasses everything for her. She sort of goes with the flow, and the current situation dictates her mood most often. However, be that as it may, there are some patterns in her behavior that will suffice in creating a picture of her character for now.
Cyan is a stately and very sophisticated beast, charming and charismatic in most everyday situations. She walks with her head high, ears forward, and there is an obvious pride in her step. Cy is a patient and lady-like animal, knowing when to speak her turn, and when to keep her mouth shut. Sometimes, when no one is looking, she sort of fades into the background, just listening. Cyan is often found admiring things from afar. She really isn't bodacious and outspoken as other females tend to be. She carries herself with dignity and hopes to be a good influence to those around her. This female may come off as arrogant and too proud for others, but she really has others best interest at heart. She will seek a more diplomatic route of solving problems before just jumping into battle. Cy is quite level-headed and even tempered on most occasions. She is intelligent and a quick thinker. Though this is true, there are times when that calm countenance cracks. Cyan values those that she grows close to, and if things get out of hand, she will stand and fight. Cy may not be the biggest female on earth, but she will defend those in need of assistance. She will jump through hoops for those that she is fond of, and this bold fearlessness could just be the end of her. She could very well be considered naive in this arena. This is where Cyan's beastly mode rears its ugly head, and her words are like spitfire. Cyan gets snarky, sarcastic, and competitive. Her lips pull back, and there is a deep, almost unearthly sound coming from her chest. Her heart is really on her sleeves at that point. She radiates pure fury and almost sheer contempt as well. Fear not though loved ones, Cyan really only goes on the defensive when there is truly a threat. She wants to be a protector, and someone worthwhile that her family can be proud of. Other than that, Cyan remains her composed, debonair self on the whole. | |||||||||

This female was born into a litter with two younger sisters, Rose and Violet. Her mother had to raise them all on her own, for their father passed away early, but all was well. Their mother, Flower, did the best that she could, teaching her pups the ways of the world. She hunted for them, protected them, and loved them as a good mother should. Each day the pups grew bigger, stronger, faster, and smarter.
As time went on, Cyan began to watch over her mother and sisters. She felt the need to protect them from danger and be their guardian. Cyan's family was very grateful to her for her bravery. From that point on, Cyan felt obligated to keep a watchful eye over them.
It wasn't long though before the pups were approaching their second birthday. Flower knew that she'd raised them to the best of her ability and that they would do well on their own. She spoke with Rose, Violet, and Cyan about reaching maturity and creating their own destinies. They assured her that they could do it. So, the next day, Flower watched her children scamper off to their new lives, a contented smile on her face.
