Site Rules
General
• Keep IC drama IC! Don't take things personally, its a game and its meant to be fun. If you truly have a problem with something that is happening ICly please talk to a staff member about it please!

• Please try to post at least 200 words! You don't have to post a lot but try to give some meat to it so someone else has something to reply to!

• We don't care about profanity here but please try to be respectful if it bothers another member!

• We have a one character per account rule, sorry, but there is a nifty account switcher you can use to help you switch between them!!

• Account names must be the name of your character. Please do not use symbols in your usernames, especially at the front of them. It makes it harder to look up people in the memberlist and it looks kind of sloppy :x

• Tables are to be no larger than 600px wide. Avatars are 300x400px.

• Any place-holders that are posted in a thread will be deleted to preserve the flow of a thread.

• All coding, pixel art, and various other parts of the site belong here, and will stay here! If you would like to use the pixel art such as mutations and such in your bios or logs please feel free! Do not upload them to tinypic though, please use their already uploaded link. You can do this by right clicking and selecting view image. They are not to be used on any other site but this one!
Characters
• No god modding, power playing, all that stuffs unless you have permission from the other player!

• You can have a gay, lesbian, bisexual, whateversexual character here, we don't care.

• Albinos are strictly a shop item! They can not be created without it!

• Please do not transfer your starter items to another account!

• If you are going to play a character with some kind of mental disorder or make them "crazy/insane" please do some actual research into it.

• Humans or humanoid creatures have never existed in Adymeria so keep that in mind when working on your bio.
Breeding
We would like to keep breeding as realistic as possible. We encourage that only mated pairs have litters, as wolves in the wild tend to be monogamous. We do understand the desire to plot and all that, so we wont make this a definite rule, but please consider it.

Characters must have at least 5 completed threads to request a breeding. We do not like 'insta love' love threads. Of course you can plan out something with another person, but please don't make it instantaneous. This is not a werewolf novel where they in-print nor a Twilight rpg. You can find those elsewhere.

Heat starts in late winter, and females will only be in heat for a month. Females are pregnant about 62 - 75 days. When puppies are born they weigh 300 - 500 grams (aprox. 1-1.5lbs), and will be blind and deaf. Within 9 - 12 days they will they will begin to see. Puppies will get their milk canines at the end of one month. Pups first leave the den at 3 weeks. Around a month and a half old, this age they are fairly agile and can flee from danger enough to get to their parents. Wolf mothers do not leave the den at first, and are usually the only ones that regurgitate food for the puppies. The father, and other members of the pack will bring chunks of meat back.

"Casanova Wolves" are loner males that will come to the borders of other territories of packs and breed with the lesser ranking females of a pack.

We have a fade to black rule so don't get too detailed with your encounters!
Fighting
Notify the staff before you post a challenge please. It makes it easier on us to know about it than to see bickering going on the cbox and have no idea what is going on. Please note, if we do not think you have been a member long enough, or are not active again, we may not allow a challenge to take place if the current alpha has much higher activity then you.

Challenges may be between any gender, and for anything. Lands, mates, puppies, ect. Just like in nature, wolves may fight who they want. A rank challenge is between two wolves, one trying to claim a rank and the other to defend it. A death match is between two wolves where it will be decided that one wolf will die (permission is required from both parties for a death match to occur). A mate challenge is made where one wolf may challenge for another's mate. A spar is mostly considered practice between two wolves and may be used to settle small arguments and disagreements as well. Spars are not often judged by staff unless the contenders request it.

If an Alpha is challenged, no matter how long s/he has been in control of the pack, they must answer within three days. If no response is made then the challenger will win by default. You must be active with your alpha characters!

When engaging in a traditional style challenge, if agreed by both parties, you will have 3 attacks and 1 dodge. At the bottom of your post please include: Summary: (short explanation of the post, what attacks and dodges were used as well as what injuries were acquired) and the amount of attacks/dodges remaining OR Attacks:, Dodge:, Injuries: (a short summary in each field. If no dodge was used please put "None").

If there is too much arguing about a challenge, then there will be a poll. Members of the site will vote who they think would be best suited to the alpha role based on skills displayed in the challenging thread.
