Scry: Cressida carries the bottom half of a sinners skull and uses it similar to an incense burner. Without this she cannot see into ones past or future. The skull has two golden chains that attach to the skull which she uses to carry it around.

Fire: Being an earthborn, Cress is not excluded from having her element often showing. Half of her tail drifts in red smoke which ignites when Cress wishes to use her powers offensively.

ACCENT: She speaks with a light accent. Every TH sound is replaced with D. W sounds are replaced with V.

Green eyes
Red & Gold
Rising from the flames of the one true God, of fire and flame flickering against the night, comes a bold carmine beauty - enthralling and mesmerising - that reflects the visions of the sun. Her entirety is clad in prominent, deep crimson that imitates her birth element of scorching inferno’s, the silken strands turning dark ginger in the shine of her lords light. Only upon the feminine face does this colour break; vivid green eyes are outlined in rich gold, the colour dripping down the side of her cheek to slowly fade away to red. Three golden suns glow and form a pyramid upon her fore-head that are connected with a faint line.

Though not slender and lanky like most enchanting mistress’, Cressida’s figure retains a feminine charm. Taller than some men the woman can come off as intimidating but female all the same. Mid-way down her tail it begins to fade as red smoke curls and plumes, the sign of her element. Metal clangs faintly upon her right fore-limb where three golden bangles reside.
personality
Mysterious. Religious. Powerful. Confident. Faithful. Manipulative. Stoic. Calm.
The sun grew silent as twilight hovered on dark, shaded wings above Adymeria’s towering spires and flat expanses of fertile fields. Dancing along the fog-hushed path a solitary flame burned with the intensity of feral, predatory eyes in a primal wilderness - it offered warmth and welcome, a guide within the night. Few Sol sworn dared to walk abroad within Luna’s time of reign for reasons unknown but the veiled darkness served as a reminder that men could not thrive without a light to pave the path of life. It was my duty to chase away the shade’s that lingered in a man’s soul, to fight against the overwhelming eclipse all for the sake of spiritual enlightenment; I would not disappoint the one true immortal king. Upon this path I tread a shade breaks the serenity of the distance, a wandering man lost - as all men were - within the encumbering embrace of deepening dusk. His body was frail, shaken…starved and without hesitation I went to his aid. He spoke in riddles through a mind of madness, overcome by the malevolent poison of the nocturnal tide which lingered deep within his soul. I could see the sin that smothered his soul. The queen would save him, he went on, and the usual stoic, calm expression that resided upon my crimson face could not help but to shift to something akin to mockery. What a vile man to speak so highly of a God that has abandoned him. Setting down the skull-cap with care I grabbed his paw with gentle precision, sinking fangs into his flesh to drain his tainted blood into the small basin. “Your soul is dark,” His eyes never left the miniscule, ebony pool as the thin tendrils of magic weaved within the twilight air. “and full of misguiding.” And with that the night was filled with light as fire danced upon the surface and visions unfolded from their smouldering, mesmerizing dances. “Dis precious queen vill lead you astray and into ruin but the one true God vill save your soul. Come, look into de fire and embrace his light.”...feel the power of the veil that surrounds us.

Idaeus Sagona - Father
Elissa Sagona - Mother
Talitha Sagona - Sister
The Sagona’s had been known far and wide as an outlandish family, their true origin’s always remained a mystery to not only everyone they met but even themselves. Since the dawn of the family’s creation they were nomads that always followed the seasons and never settled in one place too long. They were one with the land and the vast expanse of Adymeria was one with them; never had they stayed too long in one place, that is, until an unexpected pregnancy forced them to remain in the sweltering reaches of the Saratobi Champaign. Others warned the small family of two - just starting out in the world on their own - that the desert was not an ideal region to bear young but, for the sake of their unborn children the two could not afford to move elsewhere with Elissa getting late into her pregnancy. Life in the dessert had been rough for the duo, food scarce and shade even less common to find until the night came. Being firm worshipers of Luna they relished in the twilight with every opportunity given and perhaps it was the only thing that allowed them to keep their sanity.

Late in the spring Elissa had given birth to two daughters; Talitha and Cressida. The new parents were overjoyed by the blessing given to them which quickly turned sour as they gazed upon the crimson daughter with speculation. Talitha had been born healthy, bearing a marking similar to a crescent moon upon her black face that Idaeus believed to be a sign from Luna, that the child was meant for greatness and would prosper in the world. Cressida, the scarlet child, bore the markings of three golden suns. The parents grew both confused and concerned and had decided to trade her to the coven around this area to enlighten her while they kept Talitha at their side.

When Cressida came of age at a year they had taken her deep into the desert where they met with the covenant of the sun. Though she was hesitant to leave her family, Cressida was left with no choice as the parent’s she loved and cherished walked away…without her. During her early youth within the coven Cressida began to learn of Sol and how he was the one true God of Adymeria. While she questioned it at first they had given her solid proof of his might and will, something her parents had failed to do in regards to Luna. Fascinated, Cressida swore to better herself so she may better serve the sun God and eliminate the darkness so only his light may shine. Since her youth she’d been powerful with prophecy, able to predict things even the other magi could not - they claimed her to be a gift from Sol himself, a ward of his wishes and guide of his desires. She worked hard to make her place within the coven and began to revere them as her family - choosing to forget the parents that left her behind due to silly superstitions.

Life in the coven changed, one morning, when she was ordered to heal their latest guard. A large male unlike anything she’d seen before. Without question she tended to his wounds, caring for him until he was able to care for himself. Though she was fond of the man she would not let relationships or feelings get in the way of her duties to Sol and thus cast her feelings for this new-comer away and deny his advances. Even though Cressida wanted to stop him from leaving that night, she could not let him interfere with her holy work and sacred vows and so she let him go - a decision she still regrets.

After her training had ended in the coven Cressida sought to improve the lives of others by eliminating the darkness within both their hearts and souls. To this day she still wanders Adymeria, hoping to run into the tall man and to fulfill her God’s wishes
...The aid of the immortal king will come to those that welcome his light.
