The ancient and sacred lands of Verottha are believed to have once been the earthly home of the great Luna spirit and the birthplace for the Windwalker species. The forest lands here are heavy and thick with trees believed to have grown from the start of all existence. Their trunks can be several feet wide and reach high into the dark skies above. Their branches tend to tangle thickly overhead creating a vast canopy that enclosed the forest floor and blocks almost all light from reaching its core. The long extended branches also angle in various odd directions, but it has created natural bridge ways for those wandering within to walk across. The forest thrives in all seasons, being some of the best hunting grounds known within Adymeria. The beautiful forest is never silent, with the calls of every exotic creature singing through her vast lands.

An embodiment of Sol himself, these Dunes rage with fiery temperatures that can reach over 100 degrees on a normal basis. The sun constantly seems to shine here, light breezes carrying the rich golden sands where they please. The desert seems almost endless as the sands slither and swerve with ripples engraving them to make it seem as though one is lost in an abyssal sea of sand. Small shrubbery exists here, along with small patches of water. The sands cool at night, often a time of most wildlife activity where one can dig for their water in the right spot. The dunes lead to the great Great Spine Mountain as well as the Saratobi Champaign, the Turok Jungle not too far off. The dunes are known to be home to those who align themselves with the element of fire or those who live underground.

Lying on the coast of the eastern reaches of Adymeria lies the dangerous, haunting lands known as the Shadowfay Isles. The islands, from a skyward view, form the shape of a broken, distorted circle said to be the creation of the God Sol as his safe haven. The only beauty that lingers in these lands come from the shimmering shore-line where oceanic waves thrash upon rocky shores; the earth is nearly barren of foliage, the only green residing where the isles connect to the main-land. Ebony crevices distort the land, creating minor crevices upon the fragile surface. The earth here is hard, firm, and dry making prey scarce and drinking water even more rare. Towering rock bridges connect the isles to one another though the decay of time has made them treacherous ground to walk upon as parts of them crumble into the ocean expanse below. The largest of the isles is in the centre of this sun baked land where empty trees offer perhaps the only shade in the isles. Those that call this home will often be found in this centre most isle due to the fact that of all the isles, this is the most thriving area. Though few, flora can be found here along with other threats and dangers. Tread carefully upon the isles - it's not the inhabitants that fight against you.

On the edges of the Dragon spine mountain range an odd forest formation has begun to grow and take hold. Here in Morhollow mushrooms have taken root and grown to astounding sizes, some over twelve feet tall, and all in a variety of shades of oranges and reds to pale yellows. Their trunks are so wide not even a full grown wolf could wrap his body around them, and their caps can span over twenty feet across. Some of the stalks have been hollowed out by various animals, evidence that they can be lived in and made into dens. At night, the mushrooms glow a faint golden light that seems to shiver and travel through the forest like a fog. The mushrooms here are not of any known species, but have been used before to create powerful healing and meditative teas and compresses. The land is beautiful in its rare strangeness, and a popular hunting ground for packs to gather at, as well as a common event ground.

The falls are a beautiful place to travel to, traveling from the Morhollow forest and traveling on towards the Shadowfay Isles, the falls create a division between these very different lands. Along the falls, the cliff edges jut out in smooth flat stair like protrusions, making it easy to climb up between the waterfalls. Below where the falls collect into a small pond, the rocky cliffs seem to close around it, creating a private and enclosed area to swim in. The waters grow calm and smooth, their depths incredibly clear and easy to spot small schools of fish swimming about below. Small caverns can be found in the rock walls, creating small hiding places. Traveling through some of the larger falls will also bring one to larger caverns behind where it tends to grow rather dark, though some rarer glowing moss and lichens can often be found growing along the ground and walls here.

Rolling hills touched by the purest gold. The sun shines brightly here, as it always had since the days of old. The grass is short and neat, gently sloping over the earth that rises to the heavens and dips down again in graceful and smooth hills. Boulders litter the ground here and there, jutting from the ground in beautiful disarray. The clouds overhead are faded and seem painted against the blue they rest in and it offers great contrast for this vast stretch of land. The hills provide good cover against harsher winds and during hunts are preferable to hide behind to stalk prey. Despite the warm look of these lands there is a seemingly constant cool breeze that rolls through. At night it can be quite chilly and even the moon struggles to place light upon these highlands. Some say this is because Sol claimed these lands with sunshine and warmth and therefor blocks the moon's rays from touching here. A select few also claim that they have seen the sun and the moon battling here in the skies and often times come here for contemplation or to seek revelation. More earth-bound creatures will be found here and those that are swift and fast because of the openness. Another legend that derives from these highlands is that this is where the first child born of the earth was created because the sun fed the earthly vegetation that grew from the wolf. Because of this you are more likely to find Earthborns traveling here.

Located not too far off from the rocky coast of the Shadowfay Isles, the Shadowfang Inlet is where the ocean that spirals down from the Valley of Sorrows meets the lagoon the Isles proudly surround. Small islands branch off into the grand ocean, rich in color with leaves that range from the brightest of greens to the darkest of oranges. One who wishes to travel to the Isles must first venture across these small isles from the Valley of Sorrows, passing under the Lunar Skyway to which these small islands also lead towards should one venture off in the other direction. Indeed, the Inlet serves more as a stepping stone bridge than just a mere connection between lagoon and ocean. It is said during the Hunter Moon these small islands that serve as bridges across the grand ocean disappear under a high tide and rise again during the coming of the Blossom Sun. They are in no way fit to be a permanent home to the common wolf, but they're said to be a popular nesting ground for birds said to represent the beauty of rebirth from the ashes of their own decay.

The glacier is one of the northernmost explored regions of Adymeria, though it is vast and constantly growing further. Steep slides create crevices, some safe to slip down on, and others falling down into treacherous depths of freezing water below or into complete darkness. Others have created beautiful caverns through the glacier, typically loners who found themselves needing a place to hide. Many of these long tunnels connect though, making it possible to travel for miles through the glacier’s darkness. In their deepest reaches they collect into an open common like room, and split off into further twisting tunnels. The grounds here are treacherous at best, both inside and outside, causing many travelers to try and avoid this beautiful place. Those that do find themselves here can become lost or trapped and heavy blizzards are known to happen without warning.

Elevated high above the normal altitude of any other form of land, the Volkheim Plateau is situated on the outskirts of the Southfall Pinnacle, directly beside the Golden Coast and Etheral Plains. Small geisers burst from the floor in certain locations where small bodies of water have formed to create hot springs one can take the time to enjoy in their travels. The land here is, for the most part, flat, with variations in it's elevation dropping down in locations to form valleys and groves one could easily access by simply climbing down the incline. The region is both rich in plantation and grass as much as it is in giant shards of rock and mineral veins shooting up from the floor. The hightened elevation makes the territory breezy and cool during the day and mildly chilly at night. The ground here is hard, the grass taking an off-yellow color and the shrubbery being stiff and dry. The Plateau seems to go on for miles when looking straight outward from a standing point. Here is said to be the home of the Gryphon, might beasts who sore through the skies on wings of an eagle.

The Volkheim Plateau dips down low and bleeds into this coastline. The rocks are jagged and vicious and the waves that crash and froth against them seem equally as vicious. The raging waters that lap over these stepping stone like structures have been the death of many wolves who lost their footing and got sucked beneath their hungry waves. Once more the sunlight feeds into this place, reflecting off the russet-colored boulders and coastline. Though this place is a dangerous beauty there is more to it than meets the eye. Some witches have been found to lurk about this area though the reason for this is still unknown. Many believe there is a magical aura that radiates from this place and many attempt to find the source and take it for themselves. Constant studies have been conducted by scholars upon the rocks and wildlife that thrives around the coast but the reason is still unknown. Mothers unhappy with their children or perhaps ashamed of them at birth will sometimes steal away to this coast line to drown their offspring in the waters they claim are cleansing their spirits and bringing them to redemption in the afterlife.

Morley peak is just a center of a vast mountain range, made of dark stone and clear snowy caps that reach high into the fog that is always seen around its greatest heights. Heavy snow falls are common here in all seasons and bring them into the rest of the open country side. Its importance is based more in the ancient storiy that is told of it though and the purpose it still serves to so many close to the gods today. It is believed to be the place the spirits first stepped down from the clouds and began their journey across the open and barren lands of Adymeria. Many wolves come to the base of this mountain to seek guidance, and place offerings. Others of a more bold nature have been known to travel to the greatest heights to seek some form of enlightenment, to fast and seek the closeness of the gods. Many Guardian’s have been known to travel this great path to prove their knew status and to offer thanks in their choosing for such a role.

The ruins are another of many sacred sights belonging to the wolves of Adymeria. The land here grows with beautiful crystals forming beautiful gleaming pillars high into the sky. The ground is also littered with smaller splintered off stones. At its base is a large and open stone made platform, crafted by the most skilled of wolves. From this base one massive wall rises in the back, and within it several oval made sections of the beautiful crystals that jut out of the ground and form naturally in this land have been polished and blessed, and placed reverently into the wall. Legends speak of wolves coming to place offerings here and being able to peer through these openings to see visions, their futures, and to have questions answered. A wolf of unworthy blood or of ill intent can be cursed as well. The crystals here are used often in healings, jewelry, and as offerings from wolf to wolf to show one’s wish of blessings on another.

Located deep off to the Eastern-most part of the Ethereal Plains, The Sentry Hollow is a place of solitude. A safe haven to those who know it, the Hollow is home to many different species of fauna and flora alike. The purity of these lands is said to be so divine that it has become the dwelling place of creatures known as Unicorns. Legends of heros of old taking refuge here in times of war to strike a peaceful alliance in the midst of battle are engraved within the ancient trunks of the trees, seen only at night as they glow with a vibrant neon green. Three words reign supreme among all the others carved within the bark of a single grand tree that stands in the center of this hollow, it's branches towering over double the size of that of the tallest dragon recorded in Adymeria's history, and it's trunk wrapped in a thick rope twisted and woven together of silver and gold string with small shrine wards hanging down all around it's circumference. Those three words read: Patience. Understanding. Unity. It is widely whispered that should a wolf who possesses all three of these traits of the heart present themself to the tree to give thanks and worship to those who came before them they will be blessed with a gift worthy of the soul they carry.

Located broadside to the Dragon Spine lies a fierce expanse called the Saratobi Champaign. The sun is unrelenting and burns quite hot in this area. The sands are rough and rust-colored and the earth is cracked and dry. Vegetation has no place here and the terrain is vicious to travel upon for those not accustomed to moving about. Children and younger wolves steer clear of this place at it can be quite harsh and dangerous. During the day it seems to be empty and quiet, a gentle breeze offering little solace though it is thick and hot. It stirs up the dust between the towering landforms and if the wind is strong makes it a bit hard to see when one walks between these leviathans of earth formations. The stacks are tall and looming, casting ominous and intimidating shadows on even the largest of wolves in Adymeria. Jackalopes are a creature that are common here and on the very rare occasion a phoenix can be spotted high up in the clouds on the tallest of the rock and sand towers. There is one phoenix in particular, however, that is legendary to this part of Adymeria. His name is Vafer and he is believed to be the largest of all the mythical phoenix creatures. His wings cast a shadow larger than any other and often times when one encounters the shadow they flee for the nearest cover. His flames are said to burn hotter than Sol's sun though how anyone could know this is a mystery, as none have placated the great and ancient entity. Many have died trying to claim Vafer and none have actually truly seen him with their own eyes. During the Dry Sun Vafer descends from his nest to scorch the Champaign with his destructive flames and that is why this area is so devoid of vegetation and creatures are scarce to come here. When night falls and the stars burn bright overhead even then it is still uncomfortably hot, the source being Vafer himself.

Next to the Morley Peak which stands atop the Shiverspeak Glacier directly across from it past the Northhurst Pass, the Southfall Pinnacle stands to be the second highest range in all of Adymeria. This rocky terrain is rich in earthen minerals and cystals as well as home to some of the rarest plantlife one could ever hope to find. A dangerous path to venture without wings, it's considered far easier to take the Northhurst Pass in order to cross over towards the Valley of Sorrows. For wolves who travel by air or those who possess other feral characteristics, the Pinnacle is considered to be one of the safest havens one could find being as it's quite easy to find a den in one of the many crevices located in the sides of these mountains. The river below that passes through the center of the pinnacle and the abundance of wildlife atop the mountain fields make it a dream come true to those who can adapt to live in it's environment. The pinnacle is said to harbor creatures known as Chimera's, although it is hardly ever reported of anyone ever coming face to face with one there have been wide rumors of wolves who just went missing all of a sudden...never to be found.

Located at the southern region of the Ethereal Plains, the Westerport Necropolis was once a regal temple dedicated to the deceased of Adymeria's finest. A memorial carved from stone and ore by the Caverunner species, the Necropolis was dedicated to those who died valiantly fighting during the first Great Ghostflower War which took place as the deciples of Luna and Sol fought over the best way to use the flowers for the better of Adymeria. The war involved many species of wolves as well as other species such as the noble Gryphons and majestic Dragons. The Necropolis is large, containing more than over forty corridors and over three hundred tombs with the central portion of the tomb containing the graves of the great Kings and Queens of each pack during that time who demanded they be laid to rest amoung their subjects at the time of their death. The tomb of the great Wyvern "Drog Feyn" is also placed here at the center of the Necropolis with a statue decorated in elaborate jewels for the eyes and teeth. To any who find themselves wandering deep within the Necropolis' depths they may also discover the malevolent curse that was left within it's darkest quarters.

An ancient remnant of a society before our own, the Aelwynne Oubliette is a prime example of the Kingdoms of old. Situated to the south of the Southfall Pinnacle, the entrance to this magnificent dungeon can be seen for miles as it's made from the skull of a massive ancient dragon leading into the depths of the mountainside. One must walk directly into the mouth of the dragon in order to enter, passing through the dark cavern until they reach the center of the Oubliette where one can observe the ancient cells woven together by rock and vine so that no prisoner could escape. Statues of drakes decorate the interior, as it is widely rumored the wolves who inhabited these lands worshiped dragons and would prepare their prisoners for ritual sacrifice in return for protection and mutual understanding between the two species. Uneven holes pierce the ceiling where moss and vine hang down from the tall room, allowing strands of light to pass through as well as droplets of water to build and drizzle. Blood stains the slate floor, the trunk of an old tree situated directly in the center of the room containing just as much blood as the floor with shackles firmly embedded into the floor around it - evidence that something horrid occurred here at one point in time. Bones of all kinds, from wolf to rat plague the cell blocks, the stench of decay long past. If there is one thing the wolves who know of this dungeon are sure of it's that kindness was not something the wolves who last inhabited this side of the mountain knew anything of.

A low, cool mist tinted with blue rolls across the dark, murky waters. A sense of foreboding and sorrow seems to wrap around these lands. It was a place of great destruction. Where life once thrived around these parts it has been replaced by desolation. Wooden planks are shattered and broken, some having fallen off completely to drift away in the bleak waters. There are a couple different pathways one can take to get to the center of this terrain though there is only one that many feel safe walking across. It is the stronger of the other bridges believed to be formed by the Caverunners. Though they travel about the ground more often than not many have ventured out enough to gather supplies for forging these pathways that connected the rather tiny island to the rest of the land. Though it seems small and minuscule compared to the other islands and landforms it was quaint enough for a larger family of Caverunners. On the island itself clay dens could be found having been forged as well. Though they served more as entrances than anything, as they led down into the earth somewhat. Ancient magic seems to hold the soil together, preventing water from collapsing their dens and soaking into the island. The grasses were lush and lively but that did not last for long. A terrible storm passed over here, lightning striking a brittle bridge and setting it aflame. The flames engulfed the island and several of the bridges, leaving only those two. The dens were melted and shrunk down, leaning over in uselessness. It is said that the Caverunner family were wiped out in what could be nicknamed a Cleansing. Due to much disuse the bridges became water-logged and dilapidated and rather unsafe to travel over. Once you do, though, you will find that the dens that had been destroyed had formed a rather eerily beautiful structure. At nighttime the fog seems to lift and the surface of the water gleams silver with the moon's touch. The dens seem to glow a faint, off-white color. There have also been sightings of Sprites lingering about the island's edge but this has yet to be surely confirmed.

For miles your vision is plagued by wild, unkempt vegetation. It grows rampant and freely, thriving even in the lowest of the seasons. Vines trickle from the earth in thick, binding waves that seem to stretch for miles. The bushes and trees are compact and dense, hindering travel and making it rather complicated to navigate through this vast, expansive cluster of plants. The sun reflects off of the leaves and fronds and bushes that are painted in a vibrant, ethereal green. This jungle seems to be pure life, not a single dead leaf or broken tree in sight. Even in the biting cold of the Ice Moon as the snow weighs down upon this place it seems to only be dormant and nothing more. As if waiting to shake off the frost and icicles and return back to the lush state it always seems to be in. This jungle is not as densely packed in some areas, however. In fact, in various spots throughout the jungle one can find openings and pathways that have been cleared and flattened by many years of wolves traveling upon them. It is safer to travel on these pathways and move about these open areas as there is an old, old legend that hangs over Turok Jungle ominously. It is said that strange beasts lurk within the heavy cover of the mist that clings to the jungle floor and plant life and it is said that these very beasts are the cause of so many missing wolves and only bones can be found in their stead. Do not let this deter you, however, for the Jungle is one magnificent wonder. Various rivers meander through here where they have made their own pathways, pooling into different ponds that speckle the lands. The ponds themselves are a sight to behold. In fact, many don't even realize they found one until they are in one. The water's surface is like glass, reflecting green and seemingly no different than the solid earth they had been treading on just seconds before. The distinctive quality that marks these ponds is terribly hard to miss. On the surface are large, thick lily pads. Their bottoms are hardened and stiff which keep them in tact and easily three wolves could stand on them with no trouble at all. The youngsters of Adymeria have more interest in these than the adults, though, and more often than not you can find them playing upon them. The Turok Jungle is definitely a sight to see.

Some believe this area to be where the very creation of life occurred, as these plains are covered in mystery and awe. The grass that covers these plains is a fresh blue-green, stretching over it's fields for miles. At night they're infested with the bright glow of fireflies, the stars and planets above magnified ten-fold so that one can look up and see the solar system with ease, their glow giving off a vast array of their shades, from the richest yellows and blues to the whitest of them, the variation so huge it almost makes half of the field look as though it's dusk and the other midnight. Frost normally consumes these grounds at night, the temperature dropping to low levels, while the morning brings thick clouds that cover the solar system to some degree and a comforting warmth to ease the soul. Large trees are scattered about these plains, their trunks abnormal in the sense that they are made of sharp strand's, invisible unless seen in the right light along with their silver-white leaves with red tinging on the tips and edges.

Silver sands plague this desolate landscape, a place where the moon always seems to radiate and the sun rarely shines. An eery mist wafts over these sands, a herald to any who wish to pass through. The legend has it that any who are brave enough to venture deep enough into these plains may lose themselves to the sadness which embodies this magical segment of Adymeria, sinking into a deep and powerful depression. Perhaps it is because of this belief that the most common inhabitants of this land seem to be the spirits who roam the realm. It is said that should you be able to overcome the Valley's sorrow something beautiful awaits you at the heart of it's majesty..but of course, those who seek it rarely live to tell the tale.

Not much different from the Etheral Plains, the skyway is a chain of islands that line the clouds, branching out over the oceans of Adymeria, starting from the coast of the Valley of Sorrows. No one is really sure how the islands remain floating without a solid root to the ground below, but it is widely believed it is a place of immense magical energy, mostly due to the fact of the visible shimmering auras that shroud each island in rainbow, holographic hues. Each small island is connected to the next by a bridge of vines. A few of these isles contain golden sands and palm trees while the rest are filled with abandoned ruins, tall trees, and mossy rocks. It is here that a creature known as the Manitcore is said to roam and the birth of the Windcrawlers is said to have happened.

A region consumed by thick, heavy blizzards during the night and light snowy flurries by day, the Northhurst Pass always seems to have some sort of weather activity! With temperatures dropping to below 0 at it's normal, this land is in a constant state of winter with rich grayish-blue colored mountains and slopes along either side of it's terrain. Situated directly beneath the Lunar Skyway and right between the Shiverspeak Glacier and Southfall Pinnacle, it leads directly into Valley of Sorrows where one may find the Shadowfay Isles and Shadowfang Inlet off it's coast. Along the region of the Shadowfay Isles, this grotto lies in the dampest area along it's coast leading into it by a narrow waterway passage in which one can enter the cavern and behold the beauty in which it is known for. Inside this damp, cold cavern there are said to be the rainbow, angelical glow of multicolored fireflies as they hover and reflect against its ancient cascading stone walls. The stone here is like any typical cave, with a light beige colored stone that drops down like icicles from its ceiling and fresh molds and fungus that populate within its crevices. Some various and more rare fungi that grow along its rows glow with the same power and energy as the fireflies, shedding light on the damp pathways. Deep within the grotto caverns split off and travel for miles. Many of the tunnels show signs of smoothing along the stone floors and life of past packs that have called this dark beautiful place home.

Between the regions of Northhurt Pass and Rampart Dunes is where you'll find this Chasm, a waterway passage that separates these polar opposite lands which can be quite a site to behold should one hit the right angle and be able to witness the one side in raging blizzard and the other with the brightest and warmest rays of light reflecting off the surface of the sands. It is here that one can behold the stone statues of the gods Sol and Luna, each standing tall and proud, seated before one another as though gazing into one another eyes. Sol sits on the side of the heated Dunes while Luna sits on the Northhurst Pass. It is said these stones were carved by our ancestors in times of war to honor their gods respectively where a pack ones stood on either side, coming to the realization that one god would have been nothing without the other. A truce long forgotten was said to have occurred here as the Alphas of both ancient packs stood atop the massive skulls of their gods and faced one another as Luna and Sol, setting their terms and making their peace. The statues still stand to this day, unscorned by time, but the truce remains a mystery - the only real proof they ever existed with fading rune's scrawled across them to mark the history of such an event.

A land plagued by thick, rust colored clay-like soils and sands, these mountains arch and dip in such a fashion and great length that they resemble the spinal column of a majestic dragon. The mountains continue for thousands of miles, the heat beating down on the spine like backs as it stretches far into the southern regions of Adymeria. Sparse trees and grasses grow on the lower edges, gradually declining at its greater height. The great range holds many legends of the beasts they are named for, believing them to be the birth place and the home of many great dragons even today. A small and sacred stream flows from the highest of these peaks, its source unknown from somewhere within the mountain side. Stories are told of the dragons and wyverns, and the great wolves that have conquered and defeated the beasts. This is often the meeting place for the Mark of Fire games in honor of the great legends.

The most hallowed of ground and the blessed place where the Great Spirit bled, where our kind was both cursed and blessed into creation. It is here where the ghostflowers take hold, formed by several interwoven vines that stretch high into the air and fall back towards the ground again much like a willow’s branches. The color of the vines is a rather dark green, appearing almost black. The flowers themselves are quite large, with several triangular shaped pale white petals. These petals are slightly transparent and give off a pale white light that seems to glow even from within the combined vines. Beautiful orbs of white light flow in slow motion about the Ghostflowers, believed to be spirit energy drawn to the life force that lies within these flowers. Runes appear on the ground and in the vines, glowing white and giving messages for the council to decipher. Wolves are welcome to come and give offerings to the flowers here as well as to the council members.
